Do I need a doctor's referral?

A referral from your doctor is not necessary for physiotherapy treatment, unless the injury is going through workers compensation or Third Party.

 

Do you have HICAPS facilities?

Yes, you are able to claim a rebate from your health fund via the HICAPS system if you bring your current health fund card and  have extras cover that includes physiotherapy.

 

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, EFTPOS, Visa and Mastercard. We do not accept American Express, Diners or personal cheques.

 

Do you treat patients claiming Physiotherapy under Workers Compensation?

Yes we are able to treat Work Cover patients provided you have a Work Cover certificate from your doctor referring you to physiotherapy and your insurer has accepted liability.

 

Do you treat patients claiming Physiotherapy under Compulsory Third Party insurance?

Yes, if you have a doctors referral indicating that the injury is a result of a car accident and have submitted an Motor Accident Authority accident notification form to your insurer.

 

Does Medicare cover physio?

No, it doesn't, unless your GP believes you qualify for up to 5 sessions of physio under the EPC scheme.

 

Do you treat patients under Enhanced Primary Care Schemes?

Yes, if you have an EPC referral form from your doctor requesting physiotherapy treatments.  A small gap of $10-20 is incurred for each session, with medicare covering the remainder
